History….

In 1970, the entrepreneur Klaus Peters, German descendant had the dream to transform Praia do Forte in a major hub of ecotourism. The villa has been carefully planned thanks to this visionary.

He developed the region, created the Foundation Garcia d’Avila and helped to preserve the environment through the Sapiranga Reserve, remnant rainforest.

The charming village offers all organizational aspects and international level facilities with local identity and full of great shopping options, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Among the Iberostar hotel and Tivoli Resort, through the TAMAR project, many kilometers of beaches protected by coral reefs provide to visitors delicious sea baths and snorkel.

You can practice various nautical activities in its warm waters all14 year: Surfing, kite surfing, stand up paddle, sailing, fishing or kayack.
